Cary S. Greenberg

Cary S. Greenberg helped form GreenbergCostle, PC with Caroline Costle in mid-2008. Mr. Greenberg had previously been a partner at Rich Greenberg Rosenthal & Costle, LLP, which was founded in mid-2001. Before that, Mr. Greenberg managed a busy solo practice, served as a prosecutor in the office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Alexandria and as a principal in the Old Town Alexandria law firm of Greenberg, Bracken and Tran. Mr. Greenberg specializes in criminal and civil litigation in federal and state courts. His practice emphasizes defense of white collar crime and other felony prosecutions; he also has extensive experience in domestic relations litigation.

 

Caroline E. Costle

Caroline E. Costle founded GreenbergCostle with Cary Greenberg in 2008. Before that she was a partner with Rich Greenberg Rosenthal & Costle, LLP. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense. Caroline specializes in civil litigation, personal injuries, family law, and criminal defense.

Ms. Costle served as President of the Virginia Women’s Attorneys Association between 2005 and 2006. She was President of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the VWAA during 2000 and 2001. She is currently a board member of the organization.

 

Edward S. Rosenthal

Of Counsel, GreenbergCostle, PC (2008- ). Managing Partner of Rich Greenberg Rosenthal & Costle, llp, and its predecessor firms (1982-2008). Born Brooklyn, New York, October 27, 1950; admitted to bar, 1976, District of Columbia; Virginia, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia; 1977, U.S. District Court, District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; 2003 United States Supreme Court.

 

 

Tim Bradley

Tim Bradley joined the firm in 2009 through the Domestic Legal Clinic at George Mason Law School.  He graduated and took the bar in 2011, and is now the firm’s youngest Associate.

 

 

 

 

Armin Graf

Armin Graf joined GreenbergCostle at its founding in 2008.  He graduated from George Mason Law School and is now Of Counsel to the firm.  He is barred in Maryland.

Starling Ridgeway

Starling Ridgeway hails from the State of Alabama, where he received his degree in Secondary Education at Jacksonville State University. He has been a paralegal with GreenbergCostle since its inception and currently resides in Woodbridge, Virginia with his wife and two children.

 

 

Chevonne Shartzer

Chevonne Shartzer is a legal assistant and bookkeeper at GreenbergCostle. She joined the firm when it was founded. She holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and is certified in Quickbooks.
